Angie Arboit
Co-Owner/Chief Financial Officer
After graduating from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics, Angie was an entrepreneur in the food and beverage industry for several years before joining forces with her husband, Jeff, in 2008. While building a successful business in concrete and asphalt, they saw a need to expand into sealants, waterproofing, painting and protective coatings and decided to purchase Coastal CW in 2014 growing it from a two person company to 20 employees today. As Co-Owner and CFO, Angie manages Coastal’s financial activities including financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting. She oversees all aspects of accounting; accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll as well as office management; labor compliance, human resources and marketing. Angie is passionate about growing Coastal to become a strong women owned company. Angie and Jeff have lived in Carlsbad for 20 years and feel lucky to have been able to raise their 16 year old twins in the coastal community. In her not so free time, Angie loves traveling, boating, and entertaining with family and friends.
Jeff Arboit
Co-Owner/President
With 18 plus years in the construction industry, Jeff and his wife Angie purchased Coastal CW in 2014 and grew it from a two person company to 20 employees today. While building a successful business in concrete and asphalt, they saw a need to expand into sealants, waterproofing, painting and protective coatings. As President and Co-owner, Jeff oversees the day-to-day management and operations of Coastal and is actively involved in projects to ensure that they are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest level of quality because that is what Coastal’s clients have come to expect. He enjoys wearing many hats, assisting his team wherever and whenever he is needed with the goal of empowering individuals to excel by giving them the right tools and allowing them to make decisions with the ultimate goal of making Coastal an employee owned business. Jeff and Angie have lived in Carlsbad for 20 years and feel lucky to have been able to raise their 16 year old twins in the coastal community. His free time is spent golfing, boating, and this former chef loves cooking and eating. He can’t wait to be able to travel with his family again and hopes to someday take a trip around the world.
Terry Hayes
Estimator/Project Manager
As an estimator and project manager, Terry is on Coastal CW’s front line, fielding customer inquiries and requests specific to their waterproofing, sealant and deck coating needs. He is responsible for overseeing that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest level of quality because that is what Coastal’s clients have come to expect. Terry has been managing teams in the construction industry for 20+ years, previously owned his own painting business in Chicago and brought that experience to Coastal 6 years ago. He prides himself on providing waterproofing solutions to our clients through his product and application knowledge and delivering top-notch finished projects. Terry resides in Carlsbad, is happily married and the father of two teenage daughters. When he’s not working, Terry enjoys spending time with his beautiful family and fishing.
Jonathan Harris
Operations Director
As operations director, Jonathan oversees operations, estimation, safety and quality control divisions of Coastal CW. After graduating with a business degree from Palmar College, Jon served 10 years in the United States Marine Corps, managing all squadron enlisted aircrew as the Squadron Operations Weapons and Tactics Crew Chief for 5 of them. For the last 4 years with Coastal, he has been motivated by maximizing efficiencies and maintaining high quality service and takes pride in managing high level operations with the collaboration of other companies and vendors in the construction industry. Jon lives in San Marcos with his wife Christina, a special needs preschool teacher, and their baby girl, welcomed in early 2020. When he’s not efficiently working, Jon enjoys all things racing; professional road racing, IMSA and WEC, Sim racing. He considers himself a car enthusiast, a bad golfer and a proud dad.
Doug Olsen
Estimator/Project Manager
As an estimator and project manager, Doug’s priority is to oversee projects from kickoff to completion. His responsibilities include taking off plans for proposals, creating and maintaining budgets, completing projects safely on time, and to the highest level of quality that Coastal’s clients have come to expect. In addition, Doug cultivates and maintains relationships with clients and prospective clients, prioritizing their specific waterproofing and coating needs.
With 20+ years in the waterproofing and coating industry, Doug prides himself on fostering strong effective team relationships and has already made this his priority when joining Coastal. He lives in Santee, the Jewel of East County, and enjoys spending time with his son, daughter and the most recent addition to the family, granddaughter, Abby. When not with his family or managing projects, you can find Doug reading, golfing, hiking and fishing.
